Claus Mikosch

Claus Mikosch

Curiosity is the driving force behind almost everything that Claus Mikosch does. Born in Germany in the seventies, he spent several years travelling around the world, he was involved in transition towns and bands, in organic gardens and holistic health projects, and generally he just loves trying out new things! Claus has worked as a photographer, homeopath, waiter, record dealer, beachboy, real estate broker and DJ, to name but a few. More recently he discovered his passion for writing – several of his books have been published and he became a bestselling author in Germany.

Late in 2014 he started to wonder why we struggle so much with change. “I asked myself: If I know that a t-shirt was made by a 12-year old in Bangladesh, under terrible conditions, why do I still buy it?” To find an answer he decided to make a documentary film – and anicca was born!

Claus lives in both Germany and Andalucía (Spain), he has one daughter and he believes that juggling is one of the best forms of meditation.
